I started gardening three years ago, when we moved house and, er, got a garden. Despite taking advice from the Great God Titchmarsh, it's still very much a case of trial and error - I don't think my fingers are naturally green. Anyway, these pictures show the garden from some of its better angles. Enjoy My Garden... (actually I guess technically it's Ian's garden too, but I do most of the work so sod that...)
New for 2006: Check out my new garden-related feature: Pumpkin Watch. See that baby grow...

These pictures aren't actually from my garden at all (although I wish they were). I took these pictures at lovely Dirleton Castle, in East Lothian. The longest herbaceous border in the world is at Dirleton - betcha didn't know that!
This kind of delphinium is a Black Knight? How cool is that! All together now: aa da da daaa da da daaa da da da da da duh duh...
Tiny violas in the border - cute, ey?
Pink and white dianthus against a background of red ivy
A beautiful peony
This gorgeous blue Himalayan didn't get a chance to flower last year - something knocked the bud off before it came out! But worth the wait I think.
Nigel the Griffin looks as bemused by the weather as I feel. A lovely sunny April and a freezing cold May! It's enough to make a mythical beast dream of warmer climes...
Foxgloves, clematis, peonies, Virginia creeper and the Himlayan poppy - the garden's a riot of colour right now.
