I adopted Toby through the Dogs Trust's 'Sponsor A Dog' programme. Adopting a dog is great - I receive updates on his progress, a quarterly magazine called Wag, and he sends me Christmas and Valentine's cards as well! What more could a girl want?

Sadly, Toby passed away in June 2005. He had a collapsed lung, poor thing. So here's my new sponsor dog, Herbie, who lives at the Dogs Trust rehoming centre in Leeds. I can't go to visit him cuz he's very shy, bless. Gotta luv those batty ears!

June 2008: Last month I had a letter to say that despite his behavioural quirks, Herbie has been adopted and has a lovely new home, which is a very happy outcome for him.

So meet my new friend, Kurt, who also lives in Leeds. He's made up of a lot of different breeds and takes games very seriously. Bless!
