This site is run entirely for fun and doesn't make me any money at all. I'm not affiliated to any of the sites I link to, I just like them or think they're useful. If you discover any broken links or want to moan at me about anything, feel free. I can take it.
As far as the Temple of Glam goes, please note that it's not intended to constitute a serious, researched account of the glam metal movement, or of the various bands mentioned. I freely admit that most of the facts are probably wrong, but hey! For anyone who knows nothing about glam at all, I hope it will inspire you to go out and track down some of the albums mentioned. If you're already a diehard glamster, you don't need me to quote names and dates at you, you already know them. The Temple Of Glam should be taken in the spirit of the music which inspires it: it's fun, a bit silly and doesn't take itself too seriously. Enjoy...
All text is ©Elaine Macintyre. If you'd like to use any of my reviews or articles on your website feel free, but please please please credit me and include a link to my site! Hey, you could even let me know!
If you email me or sign my guestbook, rest assured that I won't start bombarding you with spam, nor will I pass your details on to anyone else. However, I might email you back if you say something nice, so be warned! Oh, and although I don't use any cookies on this site (apart from the ones I eat while I'm working...) the Bravenet Guestbook does.
I've tried to make the site as accessible as possible - I've (finally!) ditched the tables, so it should be fairly readable using a screenreader, and tried to follow as many accessibility guidelines as I can. If anybody is having problems using my site, please let me know and I'll do my best to sort it out. I'd love as many people as possible to read my random burblings and share my love of glam metal in general and Alice Cooper in particular, Johnny Depp, Christopher Lee et al.
